Why a District Banquet?
The Northern Ridge Banquet is a recognition and fellowship event held annually to recognize the volunteers who serve our scouting youth. In addition, The Silver Beaver Award recipient from our district, which recognizes a registered Scouter of exceptional character who has provided distinguished service within a council.
Let’s not forget the District Godsend, a Scouter who has given their all and a little more in service to our District and all the Unit Godsends who have done the same for their units.

Who can Attend?
The annual district banquet is a celebration of the accomplishments in and for our district. From awards to district events like Camp-o-ree and Cub Scout Day Camp. This is an event for everyone, so when you ask who should attend, our simple answer. Everyone! Remember it takes a village and no one person can make our district great… As a side note, having two adults (leaders or not) attend the banquet is an easy check box for the District Honor Unit Award.
